Why no 64gb in Gold color with Verizon?

I am told that there are no 64gb version available in gold color, each time u choose the 64gb version it shows up only in black color.
I called up the customer service, and they told me that they dont have the 64gb versions in gold color, and its not sure if they will get it anytime soon.
Am i missing something?
