Disable Auto-Hiding of Icons in quick settings bar?! - android L 5.02

ok.. so.. here the most trivial question on this forum i guess.. but it's had really really annoyed the cr*p out of me many times so i figured to ask as google can't tell me anything.

In Android L there is this nice Quick Settings menu on the top.
In general I like it.. But there's this one feature which is completely of the stupidity charts to my humble opinion.
It auto-hides icons of functions you haven't used, supposedly for a month i read somewhere, in a while.

This feature really, really bugs me out. 8 out of 10 times when I need the flashlight (even if I used it 2 days ago) it's hidden.
Who would ever hide the flashlight?!!! It's something you don't use often, but when you need it.. you really need it.
Is there a way to disable this ridiculous auto-hide feature without rooting/ custom rom etc?

I'm running Android 5.0.2 on a Dual Xperia Z3.

I looked around, but I couldn't find anything useful or related to this on google or the forum.
And as you noticed.. i'm really emotional now and am close to flying to google to demand answers! ;)
