Will disabling lock screen can fix memory?

One of the major issue/bugs is the memory leak issue in lollipop and the most danger of the memory leak issue is the SystemUI lockscreen accumulating RAM but not releasing it after that...
So gradually after some time, after some days of usage it leads to so much accumulation of RAM that the phone starts lagging and some of the apps may start crashing....
so disabling lock screen can fix it?
