Nexus 7 2013 wifi, Last week, wifi suddently wouldn't turn on. I don't see any networks available. Then I realized same thing with bluetooth.
First I tried:
-clear system cache.
- tried wifi/bluetooth in safe mode.
-deleted the entire folder /data/misc/wifi and rebooted. Folder recreated but problem persists.
So I thought I'll try a custom rom. Factory reset, formatted system, clear cache and installed CM 12.1 without issue, but to my surprise wifi/bluetooth still won't turn on wtihin Cyanogen.
So I assume this pretty much verifies that it's a hardware issue. I've never opened a n7 before, is there any possibility something wifi related like the antenna got loose? mac address shows not available in CM 12 just like it did in stock. This issue is also causing a power draw, even if I turn the device off, it's lost 30-40 percent by the next day.
