Because its not possible to install the normal way trough the updater app, you must it do a diffrent way.
You can install it trough TWRP by using this Mi4i toolkit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1e...bzA/view?pli=1
Before you can do this, you must turn usb-debugging on and install the adb drivers from this link https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0...WkE&authuser=0 and press a few times on y and install the google driver to at the last step.
If you are done, you can start the toolkit.exe as administrator and press option 2 install TWRP. After the installlation is done, zou can now install the latest xiaomi.eu drivers.
By going to there website download the latest ROM for the MI4i.
After downloaded the ROM put it in the root of your device called download_rom and turn off your phone completley. Than powerbutton + volume down till you see the custom recovery by maydag. After you are in the TWRP you will see the first block called install. From there you can choose the downloaded rom and it will automaticly install the rom. At the end you must choose to clear the cache dalvik. After that you have installed succesfully the european xiaomi.eu ROM..
