Hi all I got my mum a contract phone, and it came today.
It is the M4 Aqua and when I turned it on, after a while it came up saying there was a software update that needed installed. I processed the installation and it was taking longer than usual.
The screen then went black and when I pushed the power button it comes up with image: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps0de7d136.jpg ... saying error underneath and switching off again.
I have done a bit of research all morning and haven't found any resolution. I have held the power and volume up buttons in together and all I get a a vibration every second (I've have held these keys in for over 10secs). I have also held the Volume down button and the power which does nothing, just switches the phone on and shows me the image explained above. I have finally held the volume down button and plugged the phone into my laptop which gives me a green light and a blank screen and a noise from my laptop to say its connected. However when I downloaded the Sony media centre it doesn't allow me to update as it requested the phone to be switched on.
Has anyone experienced this and has a solution or an idea of what to do next. Or shall I contact the network I ordered the phone from and requested a bag to send back for replacement/repair?
Thanks
