Hi Everyone,
Firstly, I hope I'm posting in the right location of the forum - it's a big place this site!
I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910G : Singapore) about 6 days back; was messing around with some apps I frankly didn't understand and managed to brick my phone. I managed to use ODIN to flash across TeamWin recovery system and managed to install the Cyanogemd 12.1 Nightly latest release. Other than the poor battery life and excess heat the phone produced when playing Clash of Clans I was thoroughly enjoying my Cyanogenmod experience!
Last night, I was at a bar playing Clash of Clans and my phone died. I fast charged it and continued playing Clash, died again but this time I decided to be social, leave my phone off and drink with my friends. When I got home about an hour later I started charging my phone. After a shower and brushing my teeth I went back to my phone, it booted fine but I couldn't get mobile data. Didn't think much of it so decided to connect to my home wifi and head to bed. When I left the house this morning to go to work I realized the mobile data issue was not fixed and all day I have been unable to get any mobile data. I did not install any new apps or change any of my phone settings yesterday.
Phone calls and SMS continue to work fine and I have no problems connecting to my carrier; WiFi is also fine.
I've spent a few hours today researching online and have taken the following steps to try and address the issue:
None of the above has worked and I'm beyond frustrated. I'm not on the verge of giving up, I'm download the stock ROM from SamsMobile and thinking of unrooting and going back inside the Matrix. It's been massive hassle this last 24 hours trying to resolve this!
I was wondering if it was in fact a hardware issue; could the excess heat in the phone have damaged whatever it is that connects to Mobile Data? I don't know, my Phone Calls and SMS work totally fine - as my does my WiFi.
Really hoping someone can help me before I re-flash stock ROM!
Regards,
TGM

I've spent a few hours today researching online and have taken the following steps to try and address the issue:
- Checked Mobile Data Toggle to ensure it was on.
- Turned Off / On Mobile Data.
- Manually selected my carrier Network.
- Tried the Flight Mode loop other users have mentioned.
- Toggled between available factory APNs.
- Deleted all APNs and manually added a new one with carriers default settings.
- Restored APNs to factory settings.
- Dialled *#*#4636#*#* from my handset and played around with Preferred Network type. [I noticed inside the Phone Info screen that my GPRS Status is 'Disconnected']
- Performed a factory 'wipe' with TeamWin recovery and re-flashed Cyanogenmod across the handset (newest 12.1 Nightly build dated 11th August 2015).
