stock D800 LED heartbeat too...harsh...smooth it out?

so it blinks a little fast/quickly for my taste, and is a bit harsh. I'm stock kitkat, and I'd like to change it to something more like the Nexus 5 LED...a slower, gentler pulse that modulates the LED gradually, not straight on/off.
