Startup tab in Task Manager empty??

After a routine and uneventful upgrade to W10 Home from 8.1, and with no issues or problems encountered (so far:p), I can't understand why the Startup tab in Task Manager will not show anything. I still have all the programs that I had in 8.1 and I have installed a few new things since the upgrade, but Startup tab only has a greyed out "there are no startup items to display".
Anybody else seeing this???
