In case you haven't heard, Sprint is sort of offering what T-Mo offers, included data (1Gig), text, and voice roaming in Mexico, Canada, and most of Latin America. All you need is an existing plan and compatible LTE phone.

You can add the service to your line, cost free, by web or chat. By web, just log into your Sprint account, go to "Change Services", and check the two Open World boxes. You'll get a confirmation email. Check back in a few hours to make sure that the service is added.
BTW, since Sprint is owned by Softbank (Japan), you can get roaming in Japan for a month.
