s5 lolipop on receiving notification LOCK screen does not light up like IOS

hi guys ,
i was wondering why on receiving any notification , whether its of whats app, viber, Facebook, or sms msg
the LOCK screen does not light up for few seconds with notification tone.... only led blinks but led has limitations .
is there any patch or APP So LOCK screen can be light up with notification as it happens in IOS ...
i m using 5.0 lolipop
