Resurrection Remix LG G2 (LG-LS980)

when booting up my lg g2 with resurrection remix it comes up with the logo then it goes to upgrading in progress after that's done it goes back to the resurrection remix logo repeating the upgrade in progress then to the logo. can anyone help me i tried holding down the volume down button and the power button but it doesn't boot in to recovery i have twrp recovery
