replacing n900t motherboard

Hello XDA. I have water damage on my motherboard, so I bought another one. I would like to keep the IMEI from the water damaged board. I made a copy of my EFS with TWRP and I was wondering is that enough to transfer the IMEI to the new board or do I need an NVeditor?
I could REALLY use some input on this.
