OK so I was stupid enough to (by accident) delete my entire photo album in the gallery. I immediately turned off data + wifi to prevent writing over de data and searched the net for recovery tools. This is what I have tried so far:
- Dr Fone by Wondershare (d/l latest version, didn't identify the phone, turned on developer mode + usb debugging, the software tried to search for deleted files but eventually stopped and said that the only other option which might work is to root te device).
- Jihosoft photo recovery (it scanned the device, found 0 files to recover and wanted me to pay 60 dollars to recover the files it apparently didn't even find)
Now I have no idea what is the best course of action. This is what I've come up with so far and it didn't work. Any ideas are more then welcome or let me rephrase that: HELP!!! PLEASE ;)
