Phone: Samsung T-Mobile Note 4
Version: N910TUVU1COG2
Okay guys, here's what I need... (by no way shape or form should this become a hate-fest or trolling, please)... I had to replace my Google Nexus 6 (total hardware meltdown) with a Note 4. Now I'm not a stranger to the Note, I had a Note 2 a few years back and LOVED it.
The only issue I have is the overall performance of the Lollipop shell on the stock firmware/software and I need to find something that will still allow me to use the S-Pen for my document editing and productivity, and the most out of the hardware that I can muster out of this phone.
I am not new to flashing ROMs or Kernels (although it has been a while) - I am also open to AOSP and TW type of ROMs. I just need to know what is going to get the best performance, efficient power usage (aka - battery preservation), flexibility for IT apps (Citrix, VMware, etc) and overall visual configurability than what normally comes out of the box.
I'm honestly looking for some objective discussion here- this is not meant to be a competition or a verbal brawl - I'm looking for some answers from some experts in the field. I have been looking in these forums for answers for over 5 years (since my first Android phone - The Droid) and am looking for some intelligent and open feedback.
Thank you for taking the time to read - I know the post is a bit long - and I look forward to some of the responses. Have a great day guys and gals!
