Re-Posting from Reddit: Trouble with Instagram

Hello there guys,

I actually posted about this problem on Reddit, but nobody answered me, so I decided to come here and ask for your help. The problem is the following:

Recently I made a change from Huawei Ascend P6 to the Ascend P7. The P6 has a camera with 8MP and the P7 - 13MP. Now I upload pictures to Instagram every day and I noticed that my pictures from the new phone are somehow distorted. Edges and lines are all jagged. Here is an example:
Picture on Instagram ( https://instagram.com/p/6PMkDKxwa3/ ) Notice how above the windshield the line is all f***ed up. This picture was taken by my mother's Samsung that also has a 13MP camera. I tried to upload a picture from my P7, but the outcome is the same - jagged lines
This is the edited picture ( https://i.imgur.com/l2P5R6a.jpg ) I've uploaded in Instagram. I always use VSCOcam first and then Instasize. However, neither VSCOcam, nor Instasize are the cause for the problem. Notice the lines are clear.
This is the original, unedited pic ( https://i.imgur.com/prmCafq.jpg ). No real loss after VSCOcam and Instasize. Even when I upload it to Instagram in the preview it looks fine. After I upload it - jagged lines.
Now the strange thing is that this has never happened on my old phone (the P6). Here for example ( https://instagram.com/p/6J04mhRwaH/ ) you can see that the quality might be lower, but there are no jagged lines.
Does this have something to do with the higher pixel count? Or is Instagram f*cked up for P7? This is really confusing me!

The strangest thing was that I decided to take a picture with my P7, edit it with VSCOcam and Instasize on my P7 and upload it to Instagram through BOTH phones. Uploading it through P7 made it jagged, while uploading it through the P6 was absolutely fine ( https://instagram.com/p/6USxjAxwV9/ ). Instagram is the same version on both phones. What the actual f*** ??

EDIT: Since I am not allowed to directly link to the pictures, I have to put in the URLS as text-only.
