radio improvements on 5.11?

Were there any radio improvements on 5.11? I'm rooted on 5.02 and my phone is slow, bad to connect to lte. My wife updated and hers seems fine. I can do the dialpad code and force to LTE but then phone calls and texts dont really work. Thanks
