I have the T-Mobile M919/Metro M919N Galaxy S4. I am currently using the phone with MetroPCS. The phone works great for the most part with Metro. Today, I purchased the LG LEON from Metro because it was a whopping . I am unlocking the Leon for my wife to use with AT&T.
Metro made me activate the LEON under my account of course. For a few hours I was using the phone as my own and in my family room, I never have reception with over the air signals therefore I use WiFi calling. Using the LEON in place of the Galaxy S4 I have five bars with LTE in the same room.
Any thoughts as to what I should check with the S4's internals to clear up its reception issues? I have tried slightly raising the contacts in the mid frame cover and motherboard to ensure better signal, but this has not helped. I replaced the mid-frame cover as well.
