[Q] Is it possible to extract the Lollipop launcher from CM12?

Khizar Ali successfully extracted the Lollipop keyboard from the unfinished/abandoned CM12 build for it to be used in CM11, is it possible for the same to be done with the Lollipop trebuchet launcher or other CM12 apps? These could be used to theme Kitkat to look much more like Lollipop
