Problem in connecting Joystick using USB/BT joycentre

I am using Gionee Elife E7 and I am facing a problem connecting my joystick.
As soon as I press the auto search button and the software detects the joystick, an error message pops up saying "Unfortunately the process systemui has stopped"
My device is not rooted since I still have 3 months warranty left.
This is my first post on XDA so please guide me if I posted some where wrong and thanks for any help in advance.
