I have M8. It's S-Off and has Bootloader unlocked. Latest Lolipop 4.17.605 flashed and worked fine.
I've tired about 'SIM from unknown source' so I've install latest Phil'z recovery :mad: (NEVER INSTALL IT! It broke my Note2 and I have to flash it with ODIN and now it broke my M8 and seems like it will be harder to reanimate) and flash the SuperSu2.46 from custom recovery. After choosing 'Reboot system' my M8 stuck at HTC logo. Then I turned it off - and it bricked!
Now I can see only the black screen. When it connected to PC, BB shows Quallcomm HS-USB Diagnostic 9006 (COMxx). So I have to flash boot files from Linux or use some Win utilities like QPST or eMMC Row. But I need files for flash. Looks like there are sbl1, aboot, tz, rpm , dbi, maybe some more.
