Now what?

I have been away from HTC for a while and things have changed and imo not for the better. I absolutely loved my OG Evo and kept it up to the Evo LTE. I changed to iOS because I'm not a fan of overly large devices. Now though I am using the One m8 and Sense isn't Sense any longer and I've noticed that some apps I used aren't as good as they were the last time I used them. Before I go to far let me go ahead and answer some questions. 1st - I do not like large devices which is why I went iOS because that was/is the only way not to have to purchase one. 2nd - Was my sons phone and since having surgery on his hand he can't use this large device 1 handed without constantly dropping it. Me swapping my 5s with him is cheaper than replacement phones. Now to my reason for posting:

On my OG (Rooted) I used GoLauncher some. Mostly when I wanted to do something other than Sense. My most used app though, even during my short time with the Evo LTE, was GoSMS. I liked it because it would bypass the 160 char limit and Send/Receive large unbroken messages to/from and phone that supported it like all AT&T and iPhones. Installed GoSMS and it doesn't seem to have that feature any longer. Tested it on my 5s which has this ability even on Sprint network. Brings me to my questions.

1 - Is there a ROM that has the Classic Sense built in, ie no Blink and 7 screens, or is there a Launcher that does offer this feature and not as slow and bloated as Go?

2 - Is there still a Market App that handles SMS the way Go did? Have tried it and it no longer offers why I used it, or at least not on my device.

My phone is Stock including the last update that rolled out a couple days ago.
