Ok, new to xda so thought if I posted here and it WAS in the wrong topic then at least I wouldn't make a COMPLETE idiot of myself.
I HAVE tried looking and because I'm male (genetically inferior) I just CAN'T find what I'm looking for!
I AM looking for a post that lists a typical build file for say a standard Android tablet with a simple descriptor for each line.
I KNOW this sounds obvious, but all I can find are posts that say "this line can be altered to increase this" or " to stop that"
I am just looking to find a build file with simple remarks for each line.
F I can get this then I can then search each line MYSELF to finds out the specifics for the line I need!
An example would be...
ro.build.fingerprint ........ (Specific to a device and explains what carrier,os version,make etc)
This is just an example!!
I am NOT after a post which is specific to ANY device, just a list of "Commands" with variables for the commands that are commonly used in a "base" build file.
I KNOW it will depend on android version (as each revision CAN include new commands) so for a base line, I am currently using 4.4.2.
As I said, I'm new to xda and I'll probably get slammed for not finding the right postn(that probably already exists) but BELIEVE ME I HAVE looked where I thought I should.
Sorry for rambling.....
Richiety.
