Need help in updating Lg G2 D800 to Kitkat Manually

Hi ,

I recently bought Lg G2 with current version: 4.2.2, kernal version: 3.4.0, software version: D80010d.

Im living in India so I dont get over the air updates as far as I know from the many searches in Google

Can anybody confirm If I put at&t sim now, will I get software update?

Could you please give me the exact links to update manually to kitkat? I have seen methods doing via desktop and mobile ..

which one do you guys suggest would be good.
