Marshmallow Developer Preview 3 + Android Auto Issues?

There can't be many people on Preview 3 who use Android Auto, but I'll throw it out there...anyone else running into an issue with navigation in Android Auto complaining about location permissions? It suggests granting Maps the location permission, which of course it has. I can navigate fine directly from the Maps app, but in AA I just get the screen with that error.

I do have MultiRom, but I hate to boot another ROM to enjoy AA in my new GTI...
