Linux & MTP

HAs anyone gotten this phone to work in MTP under Linux? I'm using linux mint 17.2 KDE, and everytime I connect to my PC via USB, I juts get the stupid zen UI virtual drive that can be opened in file manager.

Any ideas. Other andorid phones seem to work fine.
