I recently soft bricked my AS990, and thought it was toast. I began to search, and last night, I ran across a site that actually required you to purchase the information contained in the thread. On a whim, and expecting to eat some cash, I took the dive.
Short and to the point, it was legitimate firmware. I used LG Flash Tool this morning to flash it. It's 10A, which is Kit-Kit, but Lollipop for the AS990 is not currently root-able. That said, the third party in which I purchased the information is a Korean site, and they are potentially selling Open Source firmware, which should be free for download. Therefore, I ate , but you can have the firmware free. We shouldn't have to pay for Open Source firmware.

That said, you use the firmware above to flash, and the DLL below in LG Flash Tool.
