Been trying out Endomondo on my LG G Watch R. The app starts fine and I've set it to monitor my heart rate when exercising. Work fine for a few minutes, then the watch is back at the watch face and Endomonto stops tracking heart rate. I can click the notification bar and re-open Endomondo on the watch and it starts for a few minutes again, before reverting to the watch face.
The result is that my heart rate is only logged at the start of the workout since I can't be bothered to stop and restart endomondo all the time.
How can I make an app stay open on the watch? I remember something about holding my hand palm over the watch, but that does not seem to work. It places Endomondo in ambient mode which displays some nice stats, but still it quits and ends up a the watch face after a few minutes.
Any ideas?
