I flashed my early model D850 which worked fine on stock KK from the factory to Cloudy 2.5 and upon turning the phone on within 15 seconds it will state invalid battery and reboot. I reflashed to Cloudy again after doing another complete wipe (everything other than internal memory) and same problem. So I restored back to stock KK from twrp backup and the problem was gone. I then flashed to Spartaxx and Darknight (another stock Lolipop based rom). Same issue. Invalid battery. The battery is original. In fact I have two so I swapped them out. Both batteries are charged 100%. This is not a hardware issue it is clearly software. Later I tried complete stock Lolipop (bloatware and all) and same issue.
Any thoughts? I really would like to use Cloudy or similar. I do not want to go to an AOSP as I need my camera at 100% as I have a new baby and the camera is a priority.

I also got d850_20F from here and tried again along with supersu.
Always the same issue, and if i go back to original the phone works.
