I think my tablet is bricked. HELP!

I had everything successfully running with Katkiss 5.1.1 and i was going to sell the tablet and I decided to wipe it and that's when everything went to hell. From there I wasn't able to boot into recovery. I was only able to get to the bootloader. So now I tried to format everything and I keep receiving the following:

E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log

Error mounting /data!

I've gotten others but this is the most prevalent. I keep trying to search forums but I'm stuck in a rut. I'm able to access fastboot adb but nothing is ever sticking. I have some knowledge but I'm not proficient. If someone can walk me through this, I will be grateful. Thanks in advance.
