[How To][XT907] Flash Firmware with RSD Lite to restore stock firmware/Unbrick

Requires a PC

• Download Official Motorola Drivers, and RSD Lite from
  [INDEX]Motorola Unbricking Tools


• Install drivers, with Razr M not connected to PC


• Reboot PC


• Install RSD Lite


• Charge Razr M's battery


• Download VZW_XT907_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_CFC_1FF.xml.zip or VZW_XT907_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_1FF.xml
  • Note: Firmware with CFC in the name will wipe data as part of the flashing process.
  
  


• verify md5 checksum

• Boot to AP Fastboot (Power off, device, hold Volume down, Press power for 5 secs, then release.


• Connect to PC


• open RSD Lite


• select the 3 dots "..."


• select the VZW_XT907_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_CFC_1FF.xml.zip


• select decompress or decompress and flash (not always allowed)


• Select Start


• Flashing should take 20 - 40 mins, depends on file, and PC.
