How to reset or fix a frozen Note 5 if no removable battery?

So I have had my S4 for about 2 and a half years and was looking to upgrade to the Note 5. However there have been plenty of times I have fixed a frozen phone (or when I accidentally hit the OTA update) by removing the battery. How does one fix a freeze on these phones with no removable battery? Just have to wait till it runs out of juice? that could take awhile if it isn't using much CPU on the Note 5.
