Need to get a new phone as my current one (moto x 1st gen, which was amazing and faster and more responsive than S4) is starting to have some issues.
I'm considering the moto G 3rd gen but don't want anything less than my moto x (1st gen) perfomance, otherwise I will probably just go online and get another moto x (1st gen)
moto x 1st gen

moto g 3rd gen/2015
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Qualcom....111656.0.html
Comparison

It looks like it's slower than the moto x 1st gen. But does the fact that it has 4 cores as oppose to 2 cores change things in performance?
Please help me understand and if I should get the another moto x 1st gen or get the moto g 3rd gen/2015
thanks
