How do I put a new OS on Tablet

Okay I'm sure as rain that this 4.0.4 tablet should be a 3.0 tablet. I'm attempting to use Root Master on the old bugger, does anyone know how to put a new OS on a Tab-730 Digix or Sophix tablet. Guess rootmaster failed. Anyone also know how to root this tablet? It's too old to be running some of the crap it even has.
