Has anyone gotten an Xbox 360 controller to work?

Been trying with moonlight and dead trigger 2 but my Xbox 360 wireless controller with dongle and otg cable are not working.

The light flashes and the sync lights stop flashing so it looks like something is happening but the idol is not taking any commands.

If anyone else has the 360 controller with dongle and otg test it out and see if it works on your device

(I've tested this before on a note 3 successfully)
