I have read all the links under the Troubleshooting section for the Samsumg Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830). However, none of the answers were applicable to the issue I'm facing with trying to mount the sdcard partition in my Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Things I have tried:
1. Install Samsung Universal USB Drivers for Mobile Devices v1.5.51 on my Windows 7 computer.
2. Reboot into recovery via ADB with "adb reboot recovery".
3. Try "wipe data/factory reset" in recovery.
4. Use Odin to flash new stock ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
5. Mount the SDCARD partition with "adb shell su -c mount -o rw sdcard /mnt/sdcard", but got "error: device '(null)' not found".
Note: I cannot format the sdcard partition as it's an internal partition.
My question is: How to fix the internal sdcard partition and mount it?
I really need to get the Samsung Galaxy Ace working so I can root it to test a function that is not working on a client's similar device.
Does anyone have any solid suggestion on how to fix this issue? Thanks heap.
