Google Hangouts Issue (Camera Zoom)

I have been experiencing issues with Hangouts lately. Anytime that I make a video call connection, the person I am talking to can see me and displays a full frame of what my camera sees. However, all I see is a zoomed in frame of their camera. There is no settings within the app to adjust the camera zoom that I am aware of. It appears that the issue lies in my phone and not theirs since I get the same result regardless of whether they are using Win10, Win8, iPhone, or other Android.

Any suggestions?
