It is because such feedback will be useless. It is just ONE single written feedback even though the idea is outstanding or there is a clear need that user wants the new service.
Vorum is trying to eliminate the written feedback system, allowing users to provide feedback on a simple and easy-to-use voting forum.

Vorum is a profit sharing voting forum that serves as a feedback center. We bring users and companies together to eliminate traditional written feedback.
In this feedback voting forum, user can upload their view, idea, opinion & feedback on exactly how product or service should be changed and let other Vorum user to vote. If it gets lots of vote, the post creator might get a chance to make extra money because of their feedback or voting result is valuable to corporate.
