Looks like I bricked my att s4.
I was not having much luck rooting OC3 with kingroot (to avoid the OC4 update from hell that prompted tonight), so I tried using odin to downgrade to NB1 (the version with NC1's kernel to allow towelroot)... and ODIN failed.
I've tried:
-ODINing the NB1 stock image
-trying different known good cables and USB ports (I'm on a windows 7 workstation).
The farthest I've gotten is halfway through the system portion of the install... but sometimes it fails at persdata, and often it fails when trying to set the PIT file.
Is there a known fix, or do I need to look for a new (to me) phone?
