Downgrade LP to KK?

Hi, i've been trying almost every Lollipop rom on the forum, but I can't get the performance and battery life of Kitkat so decided to downgrade mi Galaxy. What is the right way to downgrade, should I flash a KK kernel before flashing, or just flash a KK rom? :D
