(CM 12.1, TB) How to prevent apps from being recovered to USB drive?

I'm using Cyanogenmod 12.1 and Titanium Backup to backup and recover all my apps. I'm saving all the backups on my PQI USB drive and I'm recoving them directly from it. For some reason, Titanium Backup recovers some bigger apps to the USB drive and since I do not keep the drive connected all the time, I would like to prevent apps from being saved on the USB drive. Is there any way to do that?
