Change DPI?

... Long time nexus user (galaxy -> 4 -> 5 -> 6). After 4 years of nexus phones, I just want to try something different and the note 5 seems like a worthy upgrade. Anyway, the only thing I'd miss is messing around with the DPI. I read in the Note 4 forums that DPI can be changed using ADB commands without root. I realize this may mess up some TW native apps but that probably wouldn't bother me much.

Would this be possible on the Note 5? Would this trip Knox? Thanks.
