Yesterday I recived a S6 from Expedite Electronics. It is suppose to be new. It looked new but I noticed it had SuperSU installed.... Its been rooted. Also I was only downloading a couple of apps whilst browsing and the phone got red hot. The battery was also draining at a phenomenal rate.
How do I take it completely back to stock? I unistalled supersu and tried a factory reset, that took me to a black screen which amougst other things said 'dm-verity verification failed'. What does this mean? Have I been sold a dodgy phone?
I would like to keep the phone but I just want it not to burn my hand off and the battery to last more than 2 hours.
I'm not bothered about having it rooted. I dabbled with it on my old phone but never really grasped what it was all about.
