Annoying My Places notification on Verizon after update to 5.1.1

Sorry if this is already been posted. I have a method that worked for me. because without root we can not disable it.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy s6 5.1.1.
Open App manager > all Apps > clear data & cache for the following
Google play services
Google play store
My Places
My Interest

Turn off your phone > wait 1 min > hold (Power + volume up + home button) When recovery loads, wipe cache partition and restart.

I haven't seen the stupid notification it almost 6 hours. Let me know if it works for you.
