"set_perm and set_metadata" Are they Same?

I am a noob, 'TRYING' to port a ROM for my Micromax a092, I am using THIS Tutorial. I'm stuck at STEP10,

Quote:

"COPY THE set_perm Lines in META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script From Port to Base ROM After Deleting set_perm lines in Base ROM's Updater-Script."

THE PROBLEM IS :
There's no set_perm lines on the BASE ROM nor the PORT ROM.

THE QUESTION IS :
What should I do? , Shall I leave that step? :confused:
