256GB SD card working

Everything i can find on the internet says our galaxy s4 only supports up to 64GB sd cards but I just bought a cheap () 256GB Class 10 micro sd card and my M919 is reading it fine. I'm running 5.0.1
If this has already been discussed else ware, sorry for the re-post!
