Unable to signin to Google playstore after all efforts

Hey fellows,

I don't know whether I should be here or not?
I don't know whether I belong to this community or not?
I have come here as a last resort.
But I would be glad and grateful if you guys could help me with my problem.

My android device: Coolpad Dazen1

History of my Problem: I bought the device on Snapdeal. I already have one Samsung Galaxy S4. So I was quite acquainted with the Android OS. I started the device properly and registered a gmail account. Connected to the wifi. And could browse the internet.
However I could not sign-in to the Google playstore. It keeps saying
"Check your connection and try again. Retry" And if I press the Retry option it keeps on saying the same thing.

Other associated problems: Though I can browse the internet, I can't login to any email accounts. I can't use any Google services. However, I can logon to my gmail accounts & Google playstore on my laptop.

The remedial measures I took:
  • I cleared the Google playstore cache

  • I deleted the Host file

  • I reset the phone

  • Tried different email accounts new & old

  • I installed another browser, firefox, and tried to signin to the Google Playstore but with no use

  • I contacted the Google Services and discussed the problem with the technical expert. The person said, even after all these measures, if the problem persists, then it is not the problem with the Google Services. The problem is there in the device, so contact the device services.

  • When I contacted the Device services. The person said; since the device is connecting properly to the internet, the problem is not in the device or the OS. The problem is with the Google services.

I have come here with the hope that you knowledgeable persons could help me out of this situation.
I would appreciate and be grateful for any help extended.

Thank you

Anil
