qcdlcomm.py - required linux modules for download mode

Hello,
I'm trying to use the qcdlcomm.py python script and cannot get any /dev/ttyUSB* for my LG G2. Which kernel modules are required? Anything else needed besides this?

FYI, I will get a /dev/ttyUSB* device when working with arduino and ftdi_sio module. Also, I have adb installed and working.
