Hello xda
Today I rebooted my phone to find that my network icons were, well, messed up.
(Since new users are unable to post links, including images, I changed my profile picture to a screenshot.)
It is showing the EDGE icon and the icon which usually indicates that I am not connected to a network. ( ⃠)
But, as shown when I pull down the status bar, I am connected to a network (Cell C), and I can confirm that my mobile data
and network is working perfectly.
Activity before this happened:
Rebooted phone after XPrivacy permission changes on some system apps, no permissions that restricted or blocked UI or network
(except location) were blocked.
Afterwards I unblocked ALL permission restrictions on system apps with XPrivacy. Rebooted my phone, found the problem still
there, so I disabled XPrivacy in the XPosed app, and rebooted again. Same results. I also then tried to install a custom icon pack
using ROM Toolbox. No change, so I reverted back to stock icons again with a backup (which I always had, except the battery icon,
and it has been on and working for a long time, during many reboots).
So, can anyone help me here?
If you need any more info, just ask.
