Cannot Access Recovery; Only Bootloader

I'm a bit confused.
I downloaded TWRP Manager, tried installing it, and it told me it wasn't a success installing it. Then I booted into the bootloader, tried booting into recovery, and it went to the Asus logo, then booted back into the bootloader.
Then I tried going back into TWRP Manager and installing it again. It said it was a success, but I still can't access recovery. It says it's not installed, but keeps saying the install was a success when I try to.

Whenever I try to install it through 2.3.2) UN-Tethered Recovery Method 2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenf...-mode-t3096596) it says "/system/bin/sh fastboot: not found"

What started me on this is wanting to install Xposed. But I would like to create a backup before I do that. (For obvious reasons) But all in all, not being able to boot into recovery is extremely inconvenient, and relatively dangerous.

For the record, I've been working at this for awhile, so if something I said doesn't make sense, it's because I'm super tired.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
